Light

Plants love light. They love it so much, they’ll do anything to get it. Phototropism is science lingo for growing towards the light and plants are really good at it.

Garden cress seedlings were grown in full darkness for 10 days and then exposed to dim light from one side. Halfway, the flash of light indicates the lamp moving from left to right. Pictures taken every minute, frame rate = 25 fps


This maize seedling was grown in darkness for about a week and then exposed to dim light from the left. Pictures were taken every 2 minutes and the video is at 25 fps frame rate.
